Rental Reservation Policies

Butterfly Blue Design Yard Card Rental Reservations and Policies


  1. Once your order request has been submitted and confirmed, you will receive an invoice. Payment is required 7 days prior to your event date to confirm/hold your reservation/date. Payment can be made via credit card with Square or Paypal. If you prefer to pay by Venmo - please contact us.

  2. You will be invoiced for missing or damaged lawn display items.

  3. For the safety of everyone, especially children, please DO NOT allow anyone to play on or around the lawn greetings display. Our display items WILL NOT safely support the weight of a child or adult leaning, sitting or playing on it. Please discourage all persons from playing on or around the display.

  4. We do ask that you take pride in your Butterfly Blue Design Yard Card display and treat it with respect. Please do not throw lawn display items in the garbage or vandalize our signs. Please do not move the items. If you are not the honoree of the Butterfly Blue Design, please notify the honoree to not harm the display, as you are still responsible for it.

  5. Set up and tear down are included in your rental. Please do not move or remove any signs after your display is set up and for the duration of your rental. Indicate any special arrangements on your order form or contact Yard Cards with Butterfly Blue Design to discuss.

  6. Please protect our inventory from any damage that might be caused by dogs or other animals etc.

  7. If you have a landscaper, please arrange for them to come 24 hours BEFORE we set up. Any type of lawn care (mowing, trimming, sprinklers, etc.) may cause damage as well.

  8. Please DO NOT attach balloons to any part of the display.

  9. We’d love to have you to pose next to the display to take photographs of your celebration and share and tag us on social media:


  • If you must cancel your booking, you can choose to receive 1/2 of your booking rate as a refund, or you may leave the full amount on credit for a future booking date if the cancellation is at least 7 days prior to your reserved date. No refunds will be given for cancellations with less than 7 days notice.

  • In the event of inclement weather, we may not be able to set up any lawn displays. Inclement weather includes lightning/thunderstorms, snowstorms, zero degree weather, heavy rain, high winds and any other Act of God that would put us or our Butterfly Blue Design in harm's way.

  • No refunds will be given due to the client giving us the wrong address.

  • No refunds will be given due to the homeowner requesting us to remove the Yard Card display.

  • No refunds will be given due to being denied access to a gated community.

  • No refunds will be given due to any animals that prevent the display from being set up.

  • No refunds will be given for circumstances that prevent us from setting up the Yard Card display, that are out of our control.

  • By placing an order/booking with Yard Card you agree to all policies stated above.


  • Yard Cards with Butterfly Blue Design will select and place letters and accents based on the information provided, however, designs are at our discretion. We will do our best to accommodate a full display, as well as select items reflecting the interests/hobbies listed on the order form.

  • Inventory availability is on a first-come-first-serve basis and we cannot guarantee certain designs or accents. Ordering as far in advance as possible will assist with delivery of your preferred choices.

  • Please note: the size of your yard or special placement request(s) may affect the design (for example, abbreviated phrases or use of one-piece phrases).

  • Remember, once placed, repositioning or removal of letters and/or accent pieces is prohibited.
